These incredible copper Wind Sculptures (Spinners) are practically maintenance free. They come complete with brass hanging extension, all ready to hang. There is No Assembly required. Each Wind Sculpture is hand crafted to perfection, including a beautiful patina on the natural copper. Over time, areas of the copper can get a naturally aged look, in the form of an antique greenish tint called Verdigris. It actually adds a lot of character to the piece, and most people like it. It does not affect, in any way, the beauty and function of the wind sculpture. This aging process varies according to the climate and weather conditions of the location.
In case of very high winds, if it seems that there is a danger in the wind sculpture being knocked off its hanging spot, it is best to temporarily remove it and put it in a safe place. If you do not do that, there is the possibility of the wind sculpture being knocked off and damaged, or causing damage to something else. This action is only necessary for dangerously high winds. Use your judgment.
